Step 4: Distribution

After approval by SQA, SQA will perform the actions necessary for release and distribution of the software to members as specified by the distribution method. The amount of time this may take can vary, for SWS submittals this may take a week from receiving a Pass result on average.

  • In the Nuclear Sector, you will need to authorize release (via ECM) after SQA performs the acceptance.
  • Note: Section D of the SAF will be used to post the abstract, this is public so take due diligence to ensure it is professional and proper.

Deliverables Policy

Deliverables must be distributed through one of the following Authorized Distribution Channels, using the processes and procedures outlined for each, to ensure screening for customer eligibility, IP protection and export control:

  • EPRI.com web downloads of reports, conference proceedings and software (if available for download);
  • Approved EPRI subscriber website access (see also Online Presence Policy);
  • Orders of reports, conference proceedings and software through the EPRI Order Center and shipped by the software or EPRI print centers; or
  • For eligible products, the EPRI Order Center will use the approved digital transfer method (EPRI Secure FTP).

  • SWS deliverables are accessed via EPRI.com. No physical media sent to EPRI members

Authorized EPRI Distribution Methods (All other software)

Preproduction Distribution

  • Download from EPRI.com as a self-extracting zip file (.exe)

Production Distribution

  • Download from EPRI.com as a self-extracting zip file (.exe)
  • CD-ROM (or DVD-ROM) from the Electric Power Software Center (EPSC)

Additional Distribution Actions

  • Production software source code stored by the EPSC
  • Project manager should download / order and validate release from EPRI.com
